Webster Dictionary defines the word giant as “a person of exceptional ability, importance and reputation; a living being of great size; a legendary humanlike being of great stature, strength, extraordinary power and significance.”
Golf has been economically extremely important within our greater community for many years. Our parent’s livelihoods have and continue to depend on the sport. ICYG has therefore decided to identify and honor those “giants” who have directly or indirectly contributed to the future of our children and their children being able to enjoy this great sport called golf! It is the way to the future of our youth – “Golf is the Karat & Education is the Key.”
In 2002, ICYG established its “Annual Community Service Awards.” Our 2025 Community Service Awards & Auction is scheduled for December 5, 2025.
