How long has Inner City Youth
Golfers' Incorporated (ICYG) been in existence? |
ICYG was incorporated in the State of Florida on January 24, 2000 and formally started in Riviera Beach & West Palm Beach, FL. The IRS approved it as a tax-exempt charitable organization on August 9, 2000 (Tax ID# 65-0978868) |

What is ICYG about and why is it so
unique? |
"ICYG " is an academic excellence, mentoring/education and golf
program that uses the excitement about golf to mentor inner city
children (ages 7-18 years of age) and help them with their studies.
Mentoring and golf will be provided on a scheduled basis after
school and some Saturdays and holidays. Local school board
certified teachers and community role models will be recruited to
serve as mentors while professional and amateur golfers will
provide golf instructions as generally prescribed by the PGA, LPGA
& USGA. We will also setup "Pee Wee" programs for children ages
4-7 years old as requested. |

Is there any publicity about the
program? |
We anticipate receiving letters of support from the community, having photos and articles in the newspaper and national magazines. |

program? |
We anticipate receiving support from local and national
corporations, foundations, private donations from citizens, local
businesses and others. |
